Absolutely, I think it's good for both sides.

For us:

1. Nick Foles is a pocket passer, and fits our system well. He's also someone we can rely on, hopefully.

2. Bradford ate up a TON of cap room. He's not worth it, to be honest.

For Philly:

1. Bradford ran a spread offense at OU, and should do well there. That is, if he can stay healthy.

2. They can trade him for Mariota. I'm not even joking. At this point, Chip Kelly is Heath Ledger's Joker. Chaos. CHAOS.

It seems pretty one sided to me

It's amazing for your team

You wanted a pocket passer and someone who's more likely to stay healthy

It's not like anyone can be less healthy over the long term that your guy was

And importantly the guy you were getting is cheap and still has more than a year left on his contract

Who in their right mind would trade Philadelphia Mariota for dude who is always hurt and only has one year left on his expensive deal?

I didn't like him at first, because he seemed fake to me. But then I looked at clips from his Wisconsin days. And his NC State days (my dad's a State alum, so I might have some bias there). And his high school days. I think this guy is actually legit. I read an article once, where his middle school gym coach talked about how Russell Drew up plays to get the I athletic kids involved and feeling good. He goes to that same children's hospital every Tuesday. Every. Tuesday. As in, the only times he missed were the Super Bowls. Like, if anyone is livin' Jesus, it's this dude.

Not great. But a couple of bright spots in Greg Robinson and Roger Saffold. We'll probably pick up a center in FA and draft an interior lineman... hopefully in the 2nd because I really want us to grab Amaari Cooper.

Davis was pretty skittish and made our line look worse than it is, IMO. Also, they do well enough for Mason on the ground
